Clean-Up Day 2026
Three editions, one growing ambition
On Saturday, 19 September 2026, Berninox is organising the third edition of its Clean-Up Day in La Neuveville.
Don’t live in La Neuveville? Action can start anywhere. In Switzerland, Clean-Up Day is a nationwide initiative led by IGSU, encouraging municipalities, schools, associations, businesses and individuals to organise their own clean-up activities where they live.
When we launched our first Clean-Up Day in La Neuveville, our goal was simple: to take concrete action, right here, in our community. For this third edition, that determination remains unchanged.
But this year, we want the Clean-Up Day to become much more than a litter-picking event: we want it to become an annual local gathering that brings the whole of La Neuveville together around a meaningful cause.
Residents, families, children, friends, associations, businesses, local shops… everyone is invited to take part!
Picking up a single piece of litter may seem insignificant. But when dozens of people make the same gesture, at the same time and with the same purpose, an entire community is set in motion.
A morning to make a difference
That is exactly what this third edition is all about: bringing as many people as possible together around a positive, friendly activity that is open to everyone.

Meeting point at 9:30 am
At the landing stage, Quai Moeckli in La Neuveville
From there, we will set off together in search of discarded litter, taking care of our town, its streets and its natural spaces.
Because collective commitment also deserves to be celebrated, we will then come together for a musical aperitif from 12 pm to 2 pm, accompanied by the one and only DJ Extrastunden.
It will be an opportunity to share a drink, discover the results of our clean-up and, above all, thank everyone who has given their time and energy.
Prizes generously donated by our sponsors will also be distributed to participants. A small gesture to thank everyone for making such a big difference.
How about we all roll up our sleeves?
Because our environment belongs to everyone, protecting it is also a wonderful opportunity to connect with one another.
A morning like this is a chance to meet our neighbours, raise awareness among younger generations, share a moment across generations and, above all, see what we can achieve when we act together.
At Berninox, we believe that sustainability is not limited to the products we design or the materials we choose. It is also reflected in the actions we take every day and in our ability to make a difference where we live.
So this year, we are setting the whole community a challenge: come along, and bring someone with you.
