1. Holding
Hold your toothbrush lightly between your thumb and index finger for better control and to protect your gums with less pressure.
2. Angle
Place your toothbrush at a 45° angle between the gum and the tooth, as if you were trying to slide the bristles under the gum line. The flat handle of Berninox toothbrushes helps you find this angle.
3. Movement
Make very small circular motions on the outer and inner surfaces of each tooth. Use horizontal back-and-forth motions on the chewing surfaces.
4. Sequence
Brush each section for 30 seconds, without going over the same area twice.
Don’t forget the inner sides and the chewing surfaces.
5. Duration
The total brushing time should be between 2 and 3 minutes. Brushing too hard can damage gums. Two to three brushings per day are sufficient for good oral hygiene.
